How to use Edit PDF

1. Add your document

Open one PDF in the editor and choose a page from the sidebar.

2. Choose your settings

Click selectable text to change it, or add text, images, shapes and drawings. Move or resize objects and use undo or redo as needed.

3. Download and review

Choose Download edited PDF and review the saved document.

Before you process

PDFs keep a fixed page layout. Replacement text uses your chosen font, which may differ from the original. Scanned page images cannot be rewritten as text; you can add content over them. Straighten rotated pages before editing existing text. Use Redact PDF for sensitive removal. The current editor text fonts cover Latin characters; unsupported characters are rejected instead of silently substituted.

File limits and privacy

Guests can use this tool without an account within 25 MB combined uploads and 50 PDF pages per task. A free Google account includes 50 MB and 100 pages. Pro includes up to 1 GB and 300 pages, subject to the tool’s technical limits. Compare all plan limits.

Documents are processed on our server. Temporary results expire within one hour; Free account files are deleted after a complete download. Pro can save results in a private 1 GB library. Read how files are handled.
