Before you process

Already optimized or text-only PDFs may not become smaller. Compression can reduce image quality.

File limits and privacy

Guests can use this tool without an account within 25 MB combined uploads and 50 PDF pages per task. A free Google account includes 50 MB and 100 pages. Pro includes up to 1 GB and 300 pages, subject to the tool’s technical limits. Compare all plan limits.

Documents are processed on our server. Temporary results expire within one hour; Free account files are deleted after a complete download. Pro can save results in a private 1 GB library. Read how files are handled.
